What did you worship, before you chose to worship Jesus?

What or who did you serve, before making Him the Lord of your life?

Historical dates have this thing AD, ano domini, or BCE, before commen era or BC, before Christ.

Maybe you remember you, BC, before Christ.

What a mess you were!

Today each of us are a work in progress, sure, but back then?

You were in a bad way friend.

We were messed up!

Lost in tresspasses and sins!

But then Jesus!!!

God who is rich in mercy, reached down and began something in your life!

He began to pull you out of that Miry Clay!

That’s why you are here today!

So you know what that world is like out there....

You know the hopelessness.

You know how short lived are the pleasures of sin.

You know what it is to make your bed, then lie in it.

But now, you have the victory!

Heaven is your home now!!!

“This world is not my home, I’m just a’ passing through.. My treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue! The angels beckon me, from heaven’s open door and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore!!!!

“Oh death, where is thy sting, Oh Grave, where is your victory?”

Today friend, you have hope!!!!

For the other side of tommorrow!

For a land on the other side of war and sickness and famine and elections and politics!

So, there was you before, and there is you now....

Biiiiig difference right?

I’d go so far as to say that ,If the Old you met the new you on the street somewhere, that old you would not believe such a change to be possible!

Yet here you are today!!!

And what a work God has done!

Mona Lisa, the Last Supper...

Johannes Vermeer has his girl with the pearl,

Other artists, Sculptors, composers, known for their compositions and art.

But God, the one who created all that is, the galaxies, the sciences, the arts, the emotional yet scientific magic of a thing called music, that same God, is also known by his masterpiece.

No, it’s not the sun.

Not the moon,

Not the oceans and their untold bounty of life, none of those can be called the apex of his achievement!

As it happens, Brothers and sisters:

God’s masterpiece is you!
